John Lewis

Edinburgh 2021

The relaunch of John Lewis Edinburgh, saw Sarah Feather Design commissioned to assist the brand in bringing drama and visual delight to the store’s updated interior by celebrating all things Scotland.

Bespoke and hand-crafted in-house, two life-size stags lock horns in the main atrium of the store. These magnificent beasts were sculpted and upholstered using John Lewis fabrics, providing a showcase of the brand’s product while offering the customer a theatrical celebration of Scottish nature. Huge and dramatic pink flocked antlers bring a contemporary twist to the traditional image of the Scottish Stag

Continuing the bespoke 3D display throughout the store, fabric upholstered tropical plants featured in interior room sets, while hundreds of strung denim squares brought focus to the brand’s fashion department. Sculpted Bobby Dogs, historically famous in Edinburgh, surrounded by swathes of birds, brought a playful display to the store’s childrenswear department.
